Birthday Party FAQ's

Please read our frequently asked questions before emailing or calling… 

What is the children’s party menu? 

The set menu will be platters of sandwiches with a variety of fillings (usually cheese, ham, tuna & sweetcorn), a platter of carrot & cucumber sticks, banana bread and Fruit Shoots to drink.  

If you require vegetarian, vegan, or specific dietary/allergy requirements we must be informed at least 7 days before your party.  

Are there other menu options?  

There is a set menu for Birthday Parties. 

Is cutlery provided?  

The children’s party menu is all finger foods. We provide plates, napkins, and a small amount of disposable cutlery. The children’s drinks are bottled so do not require cups.  

Can I bring extra food items? 


Is there a kettle or tea and coffee facilities in the party room?  

No, but you will receive vouchers for 10% off drinks in the café.  

Can I order additional food for adults? 

The party includes a set menu for children only. 

If you are interested in further catering this must be organised through the café directly via email – Please note, the café requires at least 7 days’ notice for additional catering.  

Can I bring alcohol?  

No, the farm is an alcohol-free site.  

Where can I smoke, vape, or use an e-cigarette? 

The farm is a smoke free site, smoking in any form is not permitted anywhere.  

What is included in the Party Bags?

Each bag contains farm themed stationary items, an animal mask and an activity sheet (Contents may be subject to change) 

Can I bring my own decorations?  

The Party room will already be decorated with bunting, banners, and tablecloths (a photo can be seen on our website). You are welcome to bring temporary decorations if you wish. Please only attach decorations with BluTack as not to damage the room. Balloons are not allowed on site. 

Can I play music in the party room? 

The party room does not have a music system. You may bring a small music system or speaker, but please be mindful of other farm users, staff and animals when playing music.  

Will there be a party host? What is the schedule of the party?  

There will not be a party host for entirety of your party. 

A member of staff will welcome you when you arrive, show you the party schedule and answer any questions you may have. Shortly after this, a member of staff will take the party group to your private small animal meet and greet session. After the meet and greet, you will be directed to a handwashing station and then back to the party room where the children’s refreshments will have been set up. You then have 45 minutes unattended for the children to eat, we recommend this is a good time to also have your Birthday Cake if you have brought one.  

After the refreshments is either time to explore the farm and feed our larger farm animals in the fields or take part in the prebooked pony riding activity. If participating in pony rides, a member of the Riding School will escort the party group to the pony riding area 30 minutes before the end of your party slot.  

At the end of your party, you are welcome to stay at the farm, most party groups spend time in the playground. However, all personal belongings must be removed from the party room at the end of your slot so staff can clean and prep for the next party session.  

How early can I arrive? 

The party room can be accessed a maximum of 15 minutes before your party slot, please do not arrive at the party room earlier than this.  

What are the pony rides and who can take part?  

Birthday parties have the option to add pony rides for a set price of £50 per party, this is for up to 20 pony rides. The pony rides are available for children between 2-7 years old and are a short walk on a pony with a leader and side walker. Children must be able to sit up independently and safely fit into one of our riding hats. This activity must be booked at time of placing your Birthday party booking.  

What is in the party bags? Can I purchase additional party bags? 
The party bags contain an animal mask, farm themed stationary items, crayons, and an activity sheet. 20 party bags are included in your booking, if you require additional party bags, please email Any additional party bags will be invoiced and must be paid ahead of your party. 

Can I bring less than 20 children?

Yes, however the set party package is intended for 20 children. We are not currently offering parties for smaller groups.  

Can I bring more than 20 children?
No, the party package is for a maximum of 20 children. This must include all siblings planning to attend the party. Babes in arms do not count towards the 20.  

How many adults can attend? 
Due to size capacity of the party room, we recommend one adult per child. All parents of the Birthday child are welcome.

Do you have parking? 

There is a small car park which can be very busy at weekends, public transport is recommended. There are multiple tram, tube and bus stops nearby.  

Where is the party room?
The party room is situated to the left of the Riding School Entrance, roughly in the middle of the farm site. It is the room with the dark green door.
