We hire out the Farm’s Classroom mainly for Children’s Birthday Parties, but we are quite happy to consider loaning it for almost any use!
Birthday Parties are held on Saturdays & Sundays only throughout the year. Any other type of hire should be discussed with a senior member of staff at the Farm, ideally our Visitor Services Manager on 020 8545 2176.
We prefer you to know exactly what you are getting so you are welcome to come in to see the Classroom. You are paying to hire a bright, clean open, classroom space in a safe, farm environment with tables and seating for up to 20 children. You may decorate the room as you wish but we request that any balloons are kept inside the party room, to avoid frightening our animals. Please do not bring helium balloon gas canisters.
And it will save you spoiling your carpets at home!
The classroom can cater for a maximum of 20 children . Please bring your own music player. No other electrical items are allowed in the party room. A tab for teas & coffees can be arranged with the cafe on arrival, if required.

‘Animal Encounter & Pony Ride’ Parties
Cost £150 per party
A morning Party from 10.30 -12.30 pm
An afternoon Party from 2.00 – 4.00 pm
Each party includes:
Room Hire for 2 hours
Animal Encounters includes a selection of small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets being brought to the party room for the children to meet and stroke. The staff will willingly answer any questions the children may have about the animals.
Pony Rides are for children aged 7 years and under, who are able to sit unaided and fit into a riding helmet. Staff will collect you from the Classroom and take you to the Pony Ride area. You can have a maximum of 20 rides.
Animal Feed – A bucket of animal feed is included in the price to feed the Cows, Goats, Sheep & Kimby the Alpaca.
Other additional options:
We can provide Party bags at £2 each which contain: A farm activity book, a farm pencil, a bird glider and a plastic farm animal.
We can also provide Children’s food boxes at £3.50 each. Each box contains: Half a sandwich (ham or cheese), frube yoghurt, pom bear crisps, Freddo chocolate bar, carton of apple juice and a small plastic farm animal.
Should you wish us to provide catering and party bags we will need 2 weeks notice and payment prior to the date of your party. These can be booked by using the online booking system on the blue icon below.
What to bring?
You should bring everything you need with you such as candles for the cake, matches to light them, a knife to cut the cake, a portable stereo to play musical chairs or pass the parcel and disposable plates and napkins. You may have access to the room half an hour before the party starts in order to decorate and set up.
Please be aware that, outside of the above mentioned activities, we do not provide any entertainment to party groups, so it will be up to you how you choose to spend your free time!

- 10:00 am – Access to room for setting up
- 10:30 am – Party Starts
- 10:30 – 11:10 am – Free for you to fill
- 11:10 – 11:30 am – Animal Encounters
- 11:30 – 12:00 – Free for you to fill
- 12.00 – 12.30 – Pony Rides (For parties booked after 8 March 2018 )
- Room MUST be vacated by 12:30 pm
- 1.30 pm – Access to room for setting up
- 2.00 pm – Party Starts
- 2.00-2.40 pm – Free for you to fill
- 2.40pm – Animal Encounters
- 3.00pm – Pony rides
- 3.30pm – 4.00 pm – Free for you to fill
- Room to be vacated by 4.00 pm
