About Young Farmers Days
Join our livestock staff for the day and learn about all the work it takes to keep the yard running and all the animals at the farm happy. It’s not all hard work though, you might learn all about handling small animals, or maybe take the ferrets for a walk around the yard!
Maya, aged eight, said: “I like Young Farmers because as well as meeting big animals and mucking out you get to play with small animals” and Poppy, aged nine, said: “I loved Young Farmers because we learned about farm animals and how a farm really works, we saw what goes on behind the scenes at the Farm and met new and interesting people”.
