We hire out the Farm’s Classroom mainly for Children’s Birthday Parties, but we are quite happy to consider loaning it for almost any use!
Birthday Parties are held on Saturdays & Sundays only throughout the year. Any other type of hire should be discussed with a senior member of staff at the Farm, ideally our Visitor Services Manager.
We prefer you to know exactly what you are getting so you are welcome to come in to see the Classroom. You are paying to hire a bright, clean open, classroom space in a safe, farm environment. And it will save you spoiling your carpets at home!
The classroom can cater for a maximum of 20 children . There are electric mains points available but please note that you will need to bring your own music player.
We offer two party packages:
A morning Animal Encounter Party from 10.30 -12.30 pm costing £70.00
An afternoon Animal Encounter & Pony Ride Party from 2.00 – 4.00 pm costing £90.00*
Animal Encounters includes a selection of small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets being brought to the party room for the children to meet and stroke. The staff will willingly answer any questions the children may have about the animals.
Pony Rides are for children aged 7 years and under, who are able to sit unaided and fit into a riding helmet. Staff will take collect you from the Classroom to take you to the Pony Ride area.
*There is a minimum payment of £20 for pony rides and this is payable in advance as a non-returnable deposit. This covers the first ten pony rides. Additional pony rides are payable to the stables staff, in cash on the day, at a cost of £2 per ride.
Animal feed is available at £10 per bucket to feed the cows , goats, sheep and alpaca. (One bucket will cater for 20 children)
We can provide Party bags at £2 each which contain: A farm activity book, a farm pencil, a bird glider and a plastic farm animal.
We can also provide Children’s food boxes at £3.50 each. Each box contains: Half a sandwich (ham or cheese), a fruit pot, pom bear crisps, Freddo chocolate bar, carton of apple juice and a small plastic farm animal.
Should you wish us to provide catering and party bags we will need 2 weeks notice and payment prior to the date of your party. This can be by email to firstname.lastname@example.org

You should bring everything you need with you such as candles for the cake, matches to light them, a knife to cut the cake, a portable stereo to play musical chairs or pass the parcel and disposable plates and napkins. You may have access to the room half an hour before the party starts in order to decorate and set up.
