Holiday Programmes

The Farm runs several schemes during the school holidays in the London Borough of Merton.  The costs per day are around £18 and the activities last from 10am to 4pm.

Each of the schemes has a minimum age of 8.  The upper age limit on the programmes is 12 with the exception of "Own A Pony Days"  which go up to 16.  We are sorry that we CANNOT take children under the age of 8 for insurance reasons and if we have reason to believe that a child is under 8, we will ask for proof of their age.

Booking Places

You can book places on most of the schemes by telephone (020 8543 5300) but you must pay within two days of making a provisional booking by sending a cheque or by visiting the Farm and paying in person.  You can pay over the phone by credit or debit card, but you will incur a card fee for doing so.  (Please note that we can only take card payments over the phone).

Easter & Summer Holidays

During the Easter and Summer Holidays, we run some of our courses in conjunction with the London Borough of Merton (LBM) and they publicise the activities in a brochure called Easter or Summer Plus Courses.  LBM take the bookings directly for these courses and you should phone them on 020 8545 3771.

The courses affected are "Discovery" and "Horse-Riding".

We do run "Discovery" without LBM's involvement during most half-terms and take bookings ourselves.

Important Notes on the Activities

Activities at Deen City Farm typically involve groups of participants in the day-to-day work of the farm alongside staff, and may include the use of tools such as shavings forks and spades. There is always a level of risk in working with animals whose behaviour may be unpredictable.

Unfortunately, due to financial and staff time constraints, we are unable to provide one-to-one support, but welcome applications from people with additional support needs who would like to attend with a parent or their own support worker.

Deen City Farm runs these activities for many participants. We reserve the right to refuse people at any time who pose a risk to the farm, its staff, other participants, or to the general public.

Please Note that the Farm Opens to the Public at 10am and we are not able to take responsibility for children on site before this time.  Therefore, the ideal time to arrive for these programmes is just before 10am.
There are maximum numbers for each of the courses and we would
urge you to book early (020 8543 5300) to avoid disappointment.
