Another very kind person
(the parent of a volunteer who rides at the Farm—Daniella King) had
asked Michael from Costello Fencing to drop by and put the mirrors up
for us… professionally… at no cost to the Farm. How good is that?!!!
The timescale for doing
the work was agreed and soon afterwards, at the very end of March 2008,
two charming gentlemen arrived started digging the holes and putting the
posts into concrete.
The mirrors themselves
were fixed into place the following day. Before the end of the week,
the first riders were trotting around the arena, fully able to see
themselves and their position as they went towards the mirrors!
Thank you again to the
kind donors (Alan King and Christina Lawrence) for enabling this project
to go ahead. Many, many riders will have a more beneficial, educational
experience in arena as a result. |
