Christmas Open Day, 9th December 2007
Despite the bad weather forecast for the Christmas Open Day, the day turned out to be quite nice, not only because of the - better than expected - weather. At least it was not too cold for Santa to come and visit the farm!
As in recent years many visitors tried their luck at the Tombola and bought raffle tickets to win some great prizes - drawn by the Mayor of Merton . New for this year was a Darts competition as well as stalls from outside the farm including one from the radio station London's Heart 106.2.
Fun was guaranteed when "cow pats" (thankfully not real ones) were thrown at staff.
Christmas flair was especially brought to the farm by Nativity Plays, Christmas Crafts Making and last but not least the every year favourite - body and soul warming - mulled wine!
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a positive day for the Farm.
