Supporters

There are many ways in which people and organisations can, and do, support Deen City Farm.

The most substantial financial support we get is in the form of a local authority grant which accounts for about a quarter of the Farm's income.  Other sizeable grants fund specific projects such as our Growing Garden and our Volunteer Programme.

Smaller grants are very useful too, enabling us to run projects tackling current issues in the community or providing services needed by the local area.

The type of support that involves most people is that from individuals or groups who make regular donations and/or provide us with in-kind contributions.  There are dozens of local people and businesses who give us significant discounts or provide services for free.  Many donate goods to us for use on site or for fundraising.

Many individuals support us as animal sponsors or Friends of the Farm or by simply working on our behalf to get funding.

The list on this page is not exhaustive nor scientific but it does give an example of who has supported us recently.  We are very grateful to all and to those who we've carelessly omitted.
