Farm Tours
We hire out the Farm's Classroom mainly for Children's Birthday Parties, but we are quite happy to consider loaning it for almost any use!
Parties are held on Saturdays & Sundays only, during our opening hours. Any other type of hire should be discussed with a senior member of staff at the Farm.
We prefer you to know exactly what you are getting so you are welcome to come in to see the Classroom. You are paying £50 to hire a bright, clean open, classroom space in a safe, farm environment. And it will save you spoiling your carpets at home!
What to bring?
You should bring everything you need with you such as candles for the cake, matches to light them, a knife to cut the cake, a portable stereo to play musical chairs or pass the parcel and disposable plates and napkins.
Parking
The party organiser is welcome to park in the staff parking area but guests (or their parents/carers!) need to use the visitor car park.
Timing
Our opening hours are 10am to 4.30pm and you can hold your party for any two hours during these times.
Use this form only after contacting the Farm on 020 8543 5300 to make a provisional booking.
Send the form to us with payment of at least £50 (it is £60 if including the £10 deposit for pony rides and a further £20 if you want Animal Encounters) to secure the booking. You must do this within 7 days of making the provisional booking.
Important Notice
Please read the party booking form carefully as it contains Terms & Conditions relevant to every booking. You need to send or bring a signed copy of the form to the Farm and to notify us if you do not receive the copy we sign and send back to you.
A typical party starts at 2pm & finishes at 4pm, so that pony rides (at 3pm) occupy the time for which you (the party organiser) has to keep the children occupied! You can access the room for half an hour beforehand to set up banners and balloons.
Most parties start with food (you can bring your own or the Farm can cater) to get it out of the way before playing games or having Animal Encounters. Then pony rides at 3pm, perhaps another game and then home.
The room is swept and cleaned by Farm staff but any effort towards tidying away is much appreciated!
Please Note:
- Alcohol is not allowed at Deen City Farm.
- Please keep any balloons within the classroom as they can seriously disrupt horse riding lessons.
- Do open the windows, but we are sorry that the fire doors should remain shut for Health & Safety reasons relating to our Riding School.
