Community Garden
We are proud to say that our Garden has won several awards over the years including Merton in Bloom Best Community Garden 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009! along with the Green Guardian Award for the Best New Green Project.

Since 2003, our Community Garden Project has changed a disused, weed ridden part of our site into an interactive, colour-filled vegetable & flower growing area. The Garden combines four main elements including offering volunteer placements, providing Green Fingers Educational Tours, The Growing Links project and Environmental Workshops. The Garden employs as much as possible organic principles.
Volunteers have helped our Garden coordinator to create many areas in the garden including an orchard/wildlife area, a pond, vegetable areas, a giant nature search, a composting area, a grassed picnic area, a maze and an eco cob building!.In September 2006 we opened our Turf Maze. Since then many people, young and old have had the chance to enjoy finding their way to the centre. You are invited to come and have a go yourself!
The Growing Gardens project is currently funded by the City Bridge Trust. Many thanks to all who help the project in so many different ways. We could not do it without you.
