Where Can I Volunteer? |

Working with staff and other volunteers you will learn a range of ways to care for the animals such as grooming and handling techniques. There’s a lot of sweeping and mucking out, so it can be quite physically demanding.
This role does involve a lot of smelly jobs, so volunteers must be willing to get their hands dirty and have a true love of animals to ensure their welfare.
Available Tuesday to Sunday.

But not only that! You will be feeding and watering the horses, as well as working with staff and other volunteers to learn grooming techniques, tacking up (putting the saddle and bridle on the horse) and lead reining (leading the horse).
This role does involve rather a lot of smelly jobs, so volunteers must be willing to get their hands dirty and have a true love of animals to ensure their welfare.
Please note: Unfortunately we
cannot offer any free riding to our volunteers.
Available Tuesday to Sunday.
You might be weeding, tidying, raking leaves, building new structures, painting signs, composting, planting, harvesting... everything that you can think of to help with interactive elements of our Garden Project.
Check out the Garden Project section for more information and photos!
Available Tuesday to Thursday.
Assist the Café team to provide service with a smile! That could be by serving customers, washing up, stocking shelves and clearing tables.
Our longer-serving volunteers might want to work towards a Food & Hygiene qualification to benefit them and the Farm in the future!
Available Tuesday to Sunday.

There is always lots of paperwork to do to ensure the smooth-running of things outside. This includes data entry, correspondence, researching, creating displays and other tasks as they crop up.
We welcome any skilled tradesmen who can spare us a few hours when jobs come up. There is always something to repair or to construct to benefit our visitors.
