It's the most common question we get over the phone: what kind of animals do you have at the Farm? The standard answer is, "The usual animals like pigs, goats, sheep, cows, horses, ponies, chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys.. and we also have our fair share of rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and, a little less ordinary, a couple of alpacas".

We have a broad range of livestock and a strong array of breeds wherever possible to provide a wide educational opportunity for visitors to the Farm. We are pleased to be a member of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and subscribe to many other organisations such as the British Alpine Goats Society, the Small Shepherds Club, the Toggenberg Society and the Berkshire Breeders Club.

Our animals are given high standards of care and we are happy to promote the work of the CIWF where appropriate. Our aim is to use our breeding stock to give as many examples as is manageable of young animals for our visitors to enjoy.
To give you a taster (no pun intended) of what we offer, please see footage of our latest calf, Poppy (or Gucchi Giovanni?), being born in mid-November...!
