You get value for money and an experience you will never forget.
A tour usually takes 45 minutes (unless arranged differently). Additional Activities can be arranged and vary depending on children and teachers/carers needs but may include:
Farm Tours are great for all ages though we cater most frequently for those in the 4 to 9 year old bracket.
We have successfully conducted tours for 3-4yr olds, with our oldest group... well, we won't hazard a guess at their age!
After the tour, groups are welcome to explore the Farm further under their own supervision. Many use this opportunity to visit the Farm Shop and to have lunch on in our outdoor picnic area.
Others use the time for a Classroom Activity or a Green Fingers Tour to learn more about horticulture in our Garden.
(Note. It is sometimes possible to use the classroom for lunch but not always. Please discuss this with our education officer when booking.)
This can be very 'crafty'! The variety from which you can choose includes: felt-making, recycled paper making, healthy food workshop, creating bird feeders, making a scarecrow and soap making.

This is an exciting activity expanding on the Garden Experience. It is likely that you will get to use simple gardening tools so prepare to get dirty! Click here for a little more information.
